Attended by over 90 participants an increase of 5 from the previous year! This was an extremely successful day. The morning started with a welcome address by our Chairperson Jerome Chambers , who gave an overview of the Leaving Cert Applied Programme and of the Tasks involved.

The group then divided into 4 different rooms where all of the Tasks were catered for a. General Education, b. Specialisms, c. VPG , d. Personal Reflection and Practical Achievement. The presentations were given by experienced LCA teachers, Co-ordinators and correctors of LCA Tasks.

Participants were able to attend three workshops and the feedback was very positive. People who had attended our workshops before stated how worthwhile our Task day is and that they too had learned something new. A criticism was that some participants would have liked even more time to discuss their concerns with the presenters.

The hotel proved not only to be a very accessible venue, but the service we received and the food that was provided was rated very highly in our evaluation forms. A big Thank You to the Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

This event has proven to be very successful and a  necessary support to those who find themselves anchoring Tasks
